New Wave Pool Proposed for North West Sydney

On January 23, Wisemans Ferry Retreat and Golf Club submitted a proposal for a new wave pool at their resort in north west Sydney. The 13,735 m² (3.4 acre) wave pool will use Surf Loch technology to produce waves that appeal to a surfers of all levels.

The wave pool will use more than 30,000 cubic meters of water filtered from the adjacent Hawkesbury River.  The water will be treated to meet and exceed standards set by the NSW Public Health Act of 2010.

The exclusive resort will restrict wave pool access to guests who will also be able to relax in the beach and lounge areas that surround the pool.

In addition to the plans for URBNSURF Sydney at Olympic Park, the wave pool at Wisemans Retreat will give Sydney surfers two reliable, quality surfing options.
