Watch: Simon Mortensen on Artificial Surf Reef Design
The Global Wave Conference hosted a collection of great speakers and incredible presentations in February 2020. Simon Mortensen, one of the lead designers behind the Palm Beach artificial surfing reef, presented his experience and thoughts on artificial surf reef design.

Simon also shared some video of the Palm Beach Reef breaking during tropical storm Uesi. In the video you can see a handful of people charging some solid overhead sets.
