The Beach Las Vegas

A Modern Beach Paradise in Las Vegas

Average Reviews

Description

The Beach Las Vegas is a resort community featuring multiple wave pool areas. The wave pool technology and details about the waves have yet to be publicly released by Tim Michael Curry, the creative force behind the project, but “TC” makes it clear that there will be waves for all types of surfers and wave riders.

The Beach Las Vegas wave pool will be one of many components in the community. The primary purpose of The Beach Las Vegas is to create a community around a beach lifestyle. In addition to a wave pool for surfing, The Beach wave pool will include a boogie board cove, paddle boarding area, calm waters for relaxing, and a dog beach.

Wave Size and Shape

The wave pool at The Beach Las Vegas will be unique based on early drawings and renderings. As seen in one of TC’s earliest drawings, it will produce waves in various areas that appeal to a variety of surfers. The Beach will also host a private surf area that is reserved for homeowners (upper right corner).

For advanced surfers, TC wants to create a wave pool that offers “the best, longest point break waves”. He plans to deliver overhead waves and rides up to 30 seconds long.

In addition to the point break, the wave pool will offer other zones for beginner and intermediate surfers.

The center of the pool will feature calm water and islands that are ideal for relaxing between sessions.

Outside the Pool

The wave pool at The Beach Las Vegas will be surrounded by modern retail, restaurants, hotel, casino, music venue and residences. TC hopes to create an atmosphere that captures and recreates modern beach life with a slight Vegas twist. In his own words:

The Beach Las Vegas is a MODERN Beach paradise. A creation of thoughtful inspiring design elements to stir your soul and celebrate life, love, energy, connection, experience, movement, activity, water, beauty and so much more embodied in the beach lifestyle!

TC and his team are close to securing a location and hope to make an announcement in the near future. They have several groups/private investors committed to funding the project upon finalizing the land contract according to TC.

History

TC, the creative leader behind The Beach Las Vegas, spent his early years in Newport Beach, CA as an entrepreneur in the design & creative space. He designed apparel, custom furniture & core interior accents. He spent his free time surfing at a competitive level. TC moved to Las Vegas in 2004 to pursue opportunities in land and development ventures.

In 2019, TC started implementing his long envisioned plan for The Beach Las Vegas. He considers the timing ideal thanks to advancement in modern wave pool technology, renewable energy solutions, and a rocketing economy. His plans could result in one of the largest wave pools in the world, and one of the most pristine developments one could imagine.

In TCs creative imagination, he hopes to create an experience like this for residents of The Beach Las Vegas:

It is another beautiful sunny summer morning in Las Vegas, 2024. I gaze upon the beach from my balcony to see perfect waves breaking every 12 seconds. My heart swells as I observe all of the joyful people in the water, along the shoreline, strolling the boardwalk, cruising the bike path, hanging out on the pier, watching from the observation towers, eating breakfast on the island, enjoying family activities, playing beach volleyball…~ the dream has become a reality!
