The wave pool will be divide into four areas: Two “Points” that provide waves for advanced and intermediate surfers, and two “Bays” that provide beginner waves.
The more advanced waves will measure up to 1.95m (7 feet) on the face of the wave. Thanks to the flexibility of Wavegarden Cove technology, the waves will vary in size and shape, offering barrel, turn and air sections. The length of ride will vary between 10 an 15 seconds.
The beginner waves in the Bays will be perfect for learning to surf. They will range in size from .5-1m. They will be gentle, whitewater rollers that great for learning to surf.
One-hour sessions at the pool are expected to cost around €45 ($50 USD) per person. If the Kerfeld wave pool is anything like other Wavegarden Cove installations, surfers will have a chance to catch at least 10 waves per session.
