From the video archive: the first Surf Park Summit in 2012

Laguna Beach, 2012 was, didn’t know how innovative it actual was. The artsy beach town hosted the inaugural Surf Park Summit and helped kick off a revolution in surfing.

To help celebrate the 10 year aniverssary, I dug up a couple old videos to understand how far the surf park industry has come.

First up is a presentation I put together to help Summit attendees converge on wave quality terminology and quantitative measurement.  Below that you’ll find other highlights from the 2013 Laguna Beach summit.

If you are interested in surf park development or technology, be sure to register for the 2023 Surf Park Summit in San Diego September 18th-20th.
