URBNSURF Melbourne is Full, Wave Menu Coming Soon

URBNSURF Melbourne is Full, Wave Menu Coming Soon

Incredibly exciting times for wave pool enthusiasts as URBNSURF Melbourne joins The Wave in Bristol in the “Full Pool Club".

Not everything runs late. URBNSURF Melbourne took only four out of an expected seven days to fill their 2.2 hectare (5.4 acre) pool, and it looks amazing.

“We quickly learned which winds would create offshore conditions, and just how bright it will be to surf at night under lights." said URBNSURF on their website.

Over the next few weeks, URBNSURF will be creating their first waves and slowly increasing the wave height under the watchful eyes of Wavegarden engineers. When they get to full height, Josema Odriozola (Wavegarden CEO and Founder) will load a menu of 16 wave types into the control system, ranging from point-break style walls to barrels.

We can’t wait to see the video and we’ll post it as soon as it goes live.
